Traditional shade cover materials' original design was developed in the packaging industry, which is a high-volume, low-quality packaging bubble material which only has a short lifespan. Because of this, traditional shade cloth has several inherent weaknesses in its material size, including thin points and high residual stress. Thin points in a design are weak points that are quickly broken down by UV and chemical attacks. The degradation process is accelerated in areas of high stress, as these areas are under constant strain. These factors result in the cloth material breaking down, and ultimately, premature failure of the shade cloth cover

Ultra Violet (UV) rays are emitted by the sun and are partly absorbed by the Ozone layer. UV light is destructive not only to the human skin but also to many manmade materials including polyethylene and plastic products. Unless such materials are specially treated, they become faded and brittle if exposed to UV light and chemicals. So the design alone will not stop the premature failure of a shade cloth cover. In cooperation with suppliers and partners, we have developed the best additive, stabilizer and anti-oxidant package. This package dramatically increases the lifespan of the shade cloth cover material by helping to make it more resistant to UV light and chemical attack.
